Originally the soles were manufactured at home by the espadrille, which worked only the braided rope sole on rudimentary wooden tables and the seamstresses added canvas and ribbons.

Handmade in Spain

All Maypol shoes are manufactured entirely in Caravaca de la Cruz, authentic "Made in Spain", thus ensuring its quality in the selection and use of materials as well as its design and manufacturing process.
